About Us:
We are independently owned and operated by physical therapists who
specialize in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy. We utilize only
licensed physical therapists
who perform detailed evaluations of the musculoskeletal system. Our
physical therapists are experts in human movement and function. We
listen to you and help you
reach your goals as quickly and safely as possible.
We are
located inside Rolling Hills Sports Club in Novato. Our clinic is in an
enclosed office that provides privacy, and maintains a professional
environment. We also have easy access to all the equipment in the gym,
and the pools as needed.

Michael Iacovelli, P.T., D.C.
Michael Iacovelli,
P.T., D.C. graduated with a Bachelor of Science in
physical therapy from the State University of New York at Buffalo in
1986. He moved to California after graduating, and
first practiced in Los Angeles, training in hospitals and outpatient
sports medicine clinics treating professional athletes.
In 1991, he completed the Folsom Long Term Manual Therapy
program, a fifteen month program which provides extensive training in
Norwegian and Australian manual therapy techniques for the treatment of
orthopedic injuries. In 1996, he graduated Summa Cum
Laude from Palmer College of Chiropractic West with a Doctorate in
Chiropractic, and joined his wife, Lisa Iacovelii, P.T. in creating the
Physical Medicine Center of Marin, a physical therapy corporation
located in Mill Valley. Michael enjoys working with
all ages, enjoying success in treating children, teenagers, and adults.
He currently works with the Tamalpais High School cross country
team in injury prevention and rehabilitation. |

Lisa Iacovelli, P.T.
Lisa Iacovelli, P.T.
graduated Summa Cum Laude from the State University of New York at
Buffalo with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy in 1986.
Initially, she focused her post graduate studies in the areas of
Orthopedics and Manual Therapy. In 1991, she
completed the Folsom Long Term Manual Therapy program, a fifteen month
program which provides extensive training in Norwegian and Australian
manual therapy techniques. In 1993, Lisa began to
shift her focus to the study of Women’s Health and pelvic floor
dysfunction. In 1995, she opened the first clinic in
Marin specializing in Women’s Health and Pelvic Floor Dysfunction.
In 1996, she joined her husband, Michael Iacovelli, P.T., D.C.,
to create the Physical Medicine Center of Marin, a physical therapy
corporation, providing physical therapy and chiropractic care for
patients with Orthopedic, Women’s Health, and Pelvic Floor disorders.
She continues to be one of the main providers of pelvic floor
physical therapy in Marin. Lisa continues to pursue
studies in the areas of Pre and Post Natal care, pelvic floor pain
syndromes, pelvic floor organ prolapse, post surgical rehabilitation in
the areas of urology, gynecology, obstetrics, and urinary and fecal
incontinence. In 2007, she initiated an
interdisciplinary group of Physicians and Allied Health Professionals,
which meets quarterly to study and further integrate care for pelvic
pain patients in Marin.
